Merriweather Post Pavilion - Animal Collective, 2009

I chose this image because of the amazing pattern it uses to create an optical illusion. I recommend clicking on the image to get a full grasp of what it does. This is a great representation of legato and alternate rhythm using a repeating pattern of shapes creating a direction for your eye to follow. It uses one color to represent the pattern in the foreground to create unity and the way it interacts with the borders gives it more character. Its very cool but I recommend you do not stare at it too long or you'll get a headache as I am getting one now. Overall a great sense of unity.
